Meet the Team

Anne
Animal Care Coordinator

Anne has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember, having had a springer spaniel dog, guinea pigs, mice, rats, rabbits and various birds as a youngster growing up and as an adult she’s had dog, cats, chickens, goats, sheep, pigs and a horse.

Anne has over 22 years’ experience working with dogs, having had her own kennel, cattery and doggie day care which she and her partner ran for 10 years. She was a groomer in a vet clinic for 8 years and then 4 years ago she joined the doggie day care business again.

Anne was the first person in Australasia to import standard parti coloured poodles (poodles of more than one colour), which she has bred and raised. Lots of them are doing obedience, agility and work as therapy dogs.

Anne did competitive dog obedience and agility for over 10 years, gaining CDX with 2 dogs. ADXB with 1 dog and CGC Gold (Canine Good Citizen Gold) with 3 dogs. She was on Tux Wonderdogs twice and in the last season was in the semi finals. She has also dabbled in tracking, breed showing, carting and waterworks with a Newfoundland. At the moment she is lure racing and is hoping to qualify her dog Dice.

Anne has a certificate in Animal Care and various other Certificates from workshops that she attends regularly to keep up to date with Canine Behaviour.
