Meet the Team

Georgia
Animal Care Coordinator

Originally from the UK, she left in 2019 to travel across the world and settle in New Zealand. She loves working with dogs all day, every day and hopes to have a bunch of dogs in the future along with reptiles, rabbits, goats and maybe a cow or two!

In the UK she ran her own dog walking and pet sitting business and has gained qualifications in Animal Management and most recently completed a course in Canine Behaviour.

One of Georgia’s interests is working with animals as part of conservation projects abroad. Over the last couple of years she has been lucky enough to work with sea turtles, brown bears, pandas and elephants and also volunteered with Big Cats at a small Big Cat sanctuary looking after lions, tigers, pumas, jaguars and a whole lot more! Aside from working at Central Bark, she volunteers at the Blind Low Vision Guide Dogs Centre once a week which gives her an insight into the working dog industry.  “I hope to continue working with dogs for the rest of my life because they are the secret to happiness!”
