Meet the Team
Here to meet and greet your furry friends! She makes sure everyone is welcomed into the Central Bark family and ensuring you are all up to date with our policies, exciting events and answer any questions you may have.
Lianne is originally from Devon in England and comes from a background in administration and hospitality management and has always been an advocate for animal welfare.
In 2017 Lianne left England once again to travel to India where she volunteered at a charity called Animal Aid. Their focus is to rescue injured and ill street animals including dogs, cats, donkeys and cows. Cuddling and socializing, confidence building, physical therapy and providing lots of love to recovering dogs, including those with disabilities or recovering from accidents or abuse. Bottle feeding the calves helped Lianne discover a previously unknown love for cows!
Travelling to Thailand Lianne volunteered at the Soi Dog foundation. The charity rescues sick, injured and abused street animals and has rescued over 16,000 from the illegal dog meat trade. Relying on volunteers to show the animal’s love, teach them how to trust people again, basic socialization skills, walk on a lead, and ultimately making them more likely to be adopted to the safe and happy home they deserve.
Lianne can be found taking her breaks in the cattery- any excuse for cat cuddles! After falling in love with New Zealand Lianne has decided to stay with the Central Bark family and she is looking forward to getting to know all the current and future clients. It is rumoured that if you tell her the story of how you adopted your pet, love heart emojis drift from her eyes.
