COVID-19 Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy

In the event that Central Bark moves to a level 3 or 4 lockdown, Central Bark will be required to temporarily close its doors.  During these levels, we cannot operate any services, including grooming, daycare and boarding.

Please ensure you always have an emergency contact available to collect your pet from our daycare or hotel in the event of such lockdowns occurring, given the limited amount of notice we are given to temporarily close our doors.

Any pre-paid bookings that are currently on-site at the time of lockdown will have the remaining balance of the stay held as a credited at Central Bark.

Any pre-paid booking for upcoming stays that cannot go ahead due to alert levels will receive a credit at Central Bark for the full amount you have paid.

Pre-paid bookings will not be refunded, and cancellation fees will not be charged.

Pre-paid day-care concession passes will be paused during levels 3 and 4 and restarted with the full 30 (5 day passes) /45 days (10 day passes).  These will start automatically from our reopening date and not the first date your dog’s return.

Terms & Conditions

Dog Daycare and Boarding
  1. I (the owner) confirm to Central Bark, that I am the legal owner of my dog; that my dog has not been exposed to canine infectious respiratory disease, parvo, lepto or distemper within the past thirty (30) days and that my dog has been vaccinated as indicated by the records presented to Central Bark.
  2. If my dog is showing any signs of rough behaviour or illness, including but not limited to; coughing, sneezing, runny eyes, warts, vomiting I will not bring my dog into Central Bark.
  3. I will disclose any recent surgeries and not bring my dog(s) into Central Bark while still having stitches in, or in a head cone.
  4. I understand that Central Bark have the right to refuse dogs over the age of six months that have not been desexed. Stitches must have been removed/ completely dissolved prior to attendance.
  5. I give permission for Central Bark to contact my dogs Vet Clinic and discuss any health-related matters.
  6. I understand that for safety reasons, my dog(s) must be on a lead at all times when entering and exiting Central Barks premises.
  7. I understand that Central Bark reserves the right to not accept any dog that does not pass their temperament and suitability testing.
  8. I understand that Central Bark is a facility that involves cats and dogs playing in groups (separate). I accept that there are inherent risks involved in this and that Central Bark will not be liable for any injuries or illnesses resulting from my dog’s attendance.
  9. I understand that Central Bark is an indoor facility where my dog(s) will be housed for play in the appropriate group. If my dog(s) is able to jump the internal fencing at Central Bark, then they will not be able to guarantee the safe containment of my dog(s) and as such, I understand my dog(s) will not be able to return to Central Bark.
  10. I have correctly disclosed to Central Bark all relevant information regarding my dog’s medical and behavioural history and understand it is my responsibility to keep Central Bark informed of any changes to my dogs’ behaviour or health in the future, including if my dog(s) is diagnosed with an infectious disease.
  11. I waive the right to any claim against Central Bark, its employees and its representatives.
  12. I agree that Central Bark will not be liable for any consequential damages.
  13. I agree that if a medical problem developed while my dog(s) is in the care of Central Bark, I authorise Central Bark to do whatever they believe is necessary for the safety, health and wellbeing of my dog(s) and I agree to pay all expenses incurred. I understand that Central Bark will attempt to contact me using the contact details I have provided in a timely manner.
  14. I understand that in the event that Central Bark need to take my dog(s) to a vet, that there will be an additional charge per minute of time for the time spent.
  15. I accept that I will be liable for any medical care expenses and damages that result from any injuries caused by my dog(s). This includes my dog(s) harming other dogs and humans, even accidentally, and the resulting medical bills.
  16. I understand my dog(s) must be treated for fleas, ticks and worms prior to attending Central Bark. If fleas, ticks or worms are present on the dog(s), Central Bark reserve the right to treat the dog(s) and charge for the service and materials.
  17. I understand that I must pay full costs for damage to property caused by my dog(s), including property of Central Bark and other owners.
  18. I understand that any property (e.g., lead, collar, toys, beds, blankets, clothing and accessories) left with a dog(s) are not guaranteed to be returned, or in the same condition.
  19. I understand that I must pay in full for any of Central Bark’s services, whether that is Day Care, Boarding, Grooming, Training or additional services, prior to the service or, when applicable, upon collection of my dog(s) from Central Bark. We do not offer a post payment by invoice option.
  20. I understand that in order to be eligible for a multiple dog concession pass that all dogs need to reside at the same address and be registered to the same owner. Central Bark reserves the right to request proof of this at any time.
  21. I understand that under no circumstance, Central Bark will provide a refund for any concession passes purchased.
  22. I understand that in order to receive the pricing benefit given by purchasing a daycare concession pass, that they are for current or future use. Any outstanding daycare charges cannot be backdated by purchasing a concession pass.
  23. I understand that concession passes are valid for up to 30 days (5 x Full Days) and 45 days (10 x Full Days) from the date of purchase.
  24. I agree that for any hotel booking cancellations within 5 days, that there will be no refund or credit given. For cancellations with 5 or more days’ notice, a credit for all but 25% of the original booking cost will be given. The credit will be valid for 90 days and can be used for hotel, daycare and grooming services.
  25. I understand that for all secured hotel bookings (where payment has been received), that each time the booking dates are amended, an administration fee of $25.00 will be charged. If you are reducing the length of your stay, please refer to the cancellation timeframes.
  26. I understand that unsecured hotel bookings (bookings awaiting payment) will only be held for 48 hours before being released if no payment has been received.
  27. I understand that in order for multiple dogs to board together in the same hotel suite that the dogs must reside at the same address and be registered to the same owner. Central Bark reserves the right to request proof of this at any time.
  28. I agree that in the event of picking up my dog(s) early from their booked hotel stay, that no refund will be given and no credit will be left on the account.
  29. I understand the hours of the hotel operations and the check in and check out times. In the event of wanting to check in or check out outside of the check in and check out hours, an additional $25.00 will be charged.
  30. If I fail to pick my dog(s) up by closing time, at Central Barks discretion they will either; house the dog(s) for an additional night stay with costs incurring or; charge $1.00 per minute, per dog, for every minute past closing, until the dog(s) are picked up.
  31. I understand my dog(s) will not be released until all costs have been paid for the services provided and that Central Bark reserves the right to hold the dog(s) until the balance is paid with fees and additional costs accruing.
  32. I understand that in order to secure a Pet Hotel booking, payment in full needs to be received by Central Bark. Until payment is received, a booking is not confirmed and is subject to availability.
  33. Central Bark reserves the right to refuse entry at any time for any reason.
  34. I confirm that I have read and understood the above Terms and Conditions and that the terms and conditions are subject to change without notice at any time.
Cat Daycare and Boarding
  1. I (the owner) confirm to Central Bark, that I am the legal owner of my cat(s); that my cat (s) have not been exposed to any infectious diseases within the past thirty (30) days and that my cat (s) have been vaccinated as indicated by the records presented to Central Bark.
  2. If my cat(s) is/are showing any signs of illness, including but not limited to; coughing, sneezing, runny eyes, warts, vomiting I will not bring my cat(s) into Central Bark.
  3. I will disclose any recent surgeries and not bring my cat (s) into Central Bark while still having stitches in, or in a head cone.
  4. I understand that Central Bark have the right to refuse cats over the age of six months that have not been desexed. Stitches must have been removed/completely dissolved prior to attendance.
  5. I give permission for Central Bark to contact my cats Vet Clinic and discuss any health related matters.
  6. I understand that for safety reasons, my cat (s) must be crated at all times when entering and exiting Central Barks premises.
  7. I understand that Central Bark reserves the right to not to accept any cat that does not possess a suitable temperament for a cattery environment. Including rejecting a boarding that is already in progress due do unsuitable behaviour or temperament.
  8. I understand that Central Bark is a facility that involves cats and dogs playing in groups (separate). I accept that there are inherent risks involved in this and that Central Bark will not be liable for any injuries or illnesses resulting from my cats attendance.
  9. I understand that Central Bark is a facility that involves cats spending time outside their suites in shared spaces and while all care is taken to assess suitability of cats sharing a space, I accept that there are inherent risks involved in this and that Central Bark will not be liable for any illness or injuries resulting during my cats attendance.
  10. I have correctly disclosed to Central Bark all relevant information regarding my cats medical and behavioural history and understand it is my responsibility to keep Central Bark informed of any changes to my cats behaviour or health in the future, including if my cat(s) is diagnosed with an infectious disease.

Grooming
  1. I (the owner) confirm to Central Bark, that I am the legal owner of my pet and; that as far as I am aware my pet has not been exposed to any illnesses or diseases in the past 30 days.
  2. I understand that Central Bark reserves the right to refuse service to any pet that is overly stressed or aggressive during grooming causing them to put themselves or the staff at risk.
  3. I understand that if my pet is matted then Central Bark will need to do what is in their best interest, which may be to shave underneath the matting instead of trying to de-mat them by hand, as de-matting by hand may cause undue pain to your pet and potentially cause more damage to the skin than the matting may have done.
  4. I understand that if matting or fleas are found, there will be additional charges for time taken to de-mat my pet and for a flea treatment.
  5. I understand that Central Bark is a facility where pets may be kept with other pets deemed suitable. I accept that there are inherent risks involved in this and that Central Bark will not be liable for any injuries or illnesses resulting during my pet’s attendance. 
  6. I understand that Central Bark will do their best to treat my animal with complete care and respect, but occasionally small nicks, cuts or other damage to my pet may happen.
  7. I waive all claims against Central Bark, its employees and representatives.
  8. I agree that Central Bark will not be liable for any consequential damages.
  9. I agree that if a medical problem developed while my pet is in the care of Central Bark, I authorise Central Bark to do whatever they believe is necessary for the safety, health and wellbeing of my pet and I agree to pay all expenses incurred. I understand that Central Bark will attempt to contact me using the contact details I have provided in a timely manner.
    I accept that I may be liable for any medical care expenses and damages that result from any injuries caused by my pet. This includes my pet harming other pets even accidentally and vet bills that result.
  10. I understand my pet must be treated for fleas, ticks and worms prior to visiting Central Bark. If fleas, ticks or worms are present on the pet, Central Bark reserve the right to treat the pet and charge for the service.
  11. I understand that I must pay in full for any of Central Bark’s rooming services, or additional services, prior to the service at drop off or upon collection of my pet from Central Bark.
  12. I agree to pay for the full contracted booking fee if I give any less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation.
  13. I understand the hours of operation, and that if I pick my pet up after the close of business I will be charged $1 for every minute that I am late.
  14. I understand that if I pick my pet up later than the agreed time, I will be charged a day of day care.
  15. I understand my pet will not be released until all costs have been paid.
  16. I confirm that I have read and understood the above Terms and Conditions and that Central Bark reserves the right to refuse entry at any time for any reason.
